Get Money With Visitors From Search Engines

Posted on 26 February 2010 by Dave Martin

A big amount of bloggers do not understand why after getting a high popularity they do not earn any cash from their ads shown in their blog. There are several factors that prevent them from getting money, the fact that visitors are not coming from search engines is one of the most relevant.

This fact is quite difficult to realize by a blogger that has a high technical specialty and put his knowledge selflessly in a free page. The expectation is for people to pay back his selflessness by clicking the ads displayed in his blog. But surfers do not act as we wish, surfers act as they wish.

Visitors do not buy something they can get for free, so if they have all the information they need for free from a free blog then it will be very difficult that they buy something. Moreover, when visitors are looking for blogs to read they will not click any ad to buy.

Blog readers arrive to a site looking for material to read, they do not look at the ads, and do not click on ads. You have done it that way when looking for something to read, but not wanting to buy books.

I have seen places where the owner asks the visitors to click on their ads. This is against the terms of any ad provider company. Do not do it. You better try to understand why visitors do not click on your ads.

Whe you create a blog and start writting abiut really interesting things and people start to like it, do not expect them to start clicking in your ads just because you have the great idea of including them in your page. They will not do it.

If you want to get money from your blog, you need visitors who look for something in particular, not your wonderful ideas. If you write about laptops, then you need visitors who are searching for laptops, who will probably click on the ads about laptops that you have placed in your page.

In order for you to get visitors who are looking for your topic and may click in your ads with more probability, you need to get traffic from search engines. That is what we name targeted traffic, because they type a word in the search engine and come to your blog looking for it.

If you get visitors from a search engine, they are searching something specific and if you do not have it, but there is an ad in your blog that may lead them to what they are looking for, they will likely click on it.

Dave Martin has blog to show you how to get money fast in several ways. He says you can learn how to get easy money and can show you the way.

A Fight In Upstate New York Bar

Posted on 29 December 2009 by L.J. James

It was a quite day in a small Bar in upstate New York . The girl working behind the bar was young, she had just turned twenty one and had only been bar tending a few weeks, this was her first time working alone. Everything was going fine with only two of the regulars in the back shooting pool it was nothing she could not handle she thought to herself.

Then the front door opened and in walked ten of the biggest men she had ever seen. They talked loudly and as they walked over to the far side of the bar, She got a look at the back of their jackets. She could easily see that the markings on them where all the same. The men ordered pitchers of beer and their talking only got louder as they drank more and talked about things she did not understand. Then the men went quite as the front door opened and in walked seven more large men, at first she thought these seven men where with the first Ten as they looked and dressed similar but as she looked at the markings on the backs of these new comers Jackets she could tell while they where similar the markings where different, By the way the two groups where looking at each other she guessed the difference must mean a lot to them.

The Seven men sat up toward the front of the bar and also ordered pitchers of beer. The young girl did her best to make sure both groups where kept happy, but it was just a matter of time and Beer! When one of the men from the first group called out to her, “Hey Honey don’t worry about those guys, there losers! Come over here and hang with some real men.” That was all it took, the fuse was lit. “Who you calling losers pal we are good enough to beat you any day of the week!” Yelled back a guy from the second group. “You may think your as good as us but you never will be!” Yelled back a man from the first group.

Then in what was a blur to our young barmaid a fight broke out between the two groups it was loud and she could hear glass and wood breaking all around her as the men cursed and screamed at each other. This young Girl was scared and she feared for her life.

Her fear abated a little when in the distance she heard sirens. The police are coming, she thought to herself as she hid behind the bar. The police arrived in force and they stormed in arresting the men and taking them away. When things got quite and all the men where taken away the young girl looked around the small bar. So much damage she thought to herself, She looked at one of the officers and asked how did you know to come here. We got a call that these two groups where both heading to this bar and we just knew, it happens all the time with these type of guys!!!

Epilogue: The next morning when the young barmaid awoke she walked down stairs to the kitchen where her father was reading the morning paper. Does it say anything about the fight in the bar yesterday she asked her father? Yes he said as he pointed to a small article in the back of the paper “Yankees and Mets fans Brawl it out in small town bar” the story went on to explain how all the men where given tickets for disorderly conduct and released. That’s it she screamed at her father these men trash the bar, scare the hell out of me, They should all be in jail and all they get is Tickets!!! Calm down sweetheart her father said as he hugged her, The way your acting one would think it had been a bunch of rowdy Bikers in the bar yesterday! Those Guys would have been locked away, But it was only Sports fans!

Speed Reading – Another Way To Read

Posted on 27 December 2009 by Jay Polmar

Many people do not believe that they can read faster because if they had, they already would be reading faster. And, they’ve gotten so many years of proof (like taking their current age and subtracting 4 to 6 years) and that read in the same way — yes for years!

Not only is it a well established behavior pattern, but you also firmly believe that that’s normal for you. And they also consider that if they try to read faster, they’ll lose comprehension.

Yes, too many people believe that by reading faster they’ll lose their level of comprehension. And that’s why some people think that “Speed Reading” is not a good phrase, because they assume that people are just speeding and not reading.

To help people to be effective readers we do several things:

* Show them how to unlearn old slow habits that hold you back

* Teach you some great new techniques that will increase reading speed, data processing and quality of comprehension

* Shift from the slow reader to a reader who harvests knowledge

Years ago the Chinese moved from using an abacus to a calculator to perform calculations and now they are shifting to micro, mini-computers and they process many gigabytes of data and knowledge.

This isn’t only about reading faster which will always happen when you train yourself to be a more efficient reader. Its about learning how to do things differently. And, in that way you are going to get a far more effective result, and get it faster than you ever thought could be possible.

You can take your reading speed and double or triple it or more. The most dramatic impact of doing things differently will be the impact of the development of an automatic file system ” and using success strategies to retrieve the right data for exams, presentation, or any person, before you even begin to do what others call “Speed Reading”.

So effectively you learn to be reading smart right now ” somewhat similar to how you read, right now but faster.

If you are not an effective reader already, reading takes away your free time. When you realize that 60-80% of what you read is irrelevant dribble, and you cut through it so fast, that you are breaking speed limits ” and you read with better comprehension and recall.

And it is just about doing a few things differently.

You can be the best you can be in University and in the Business World. Make sure to check out Dr. Jay Polmar’s most excellent course: The Complete Speed Reading Program — there are personal and corporate editions with goal planning The Complete Speed Reading program , and be the best you can be in University and business- be powerful!

Will The ePub Format Become Standard For E-Books?

Posted on 14 December 2009 by Andrew King

2009 has been a good year for Amazon, and a lot of their success has been due to the Kindle ebook reader. The original Kindle was launched in November 2007. It sold out in five and a half hours and new stock wasn’t available for months.

In February this year, Amazon released the Kindle 2 which featured several enhancements over the original. The large format Kindle DX followed shortly after in June. Amazon now had a Kindle “family” and, aided by a lot of free publicity from bestselling authors like Stephen King, partnerships with colleges and universities plus a lot of discussion in political circles, the Kindle became virtually synonymous with e-book readers.

Unsurprisingly, a number of other manufacturers were casting their eyes over the developing e-book reader market and considering how best to get their share. Right now, the list of manufacturers who have their own e-book readers under development is impressive and includes such names as Microsoft, Apple, Asus, Barnes and Noble, Sony and Plastic Logic.

The title of “Kindle Killer” is immediately bestowed upon any reader which shows the slightest potential. The technical specification of each new reader is studied in detail and reported to the eagerly awaiting public – especially if it includes features which are superior to the current Kindle – for example Sony’s Daily Edition reader which has touch screen controls.

As important as the technical spec of e-book readers is, it is only one part of the equation. The large choice of books available on the Amazon website, the ability to wirelessly download books – with no monthly fees and no internet connection and Amazon’s highly trusted brand name were all critically important to the success of the Kindle.

Some of the new readers will have wireless connectivity included, and the Nook reader from Barnes and Noble will offer users the choice of over 1,000,000 titles from Barnes and Noble’s website. However, one theme which seems to be common among the competing e-book readers is the format of the e-books to be used.

Most of the new readers seem to be lining up behind the ePub format. The Kindle, on the other hand, uses a proprietary format which effectively means that Kindle books can only be read on the Kindle reader.

At the moment, bearing in mind that the Kindle is pretty much the only game in town, that’s not a big problem. However, in the future, readers may want the ability to transfer e-books from one reader to another and to lend books to family and friends.

The Kindle is now Amazon’s top selling product. It currently has a 60% share of the U.S. market and has recently been launched internationally. Amazon won’t be giving up their top position without a struggle. Perhaps 2010 will see the release of the Kindle 4? It will certainly include a number of functional improvements – but might it also adopt the ePub format?

Find out all about the Amazon Kindle reader and see how you can save money by downloading free Kindle ebooks direct from Amazon’s website.

The Simplicity of Creating a List

Posted on 09 December 2009 by Taylor Striplin

Today there’s a lot of different ways of making money online. Building a list is both easy and very beneficial. To use this method you basically need two things, you need to get names and e-mail addresses of potential consumers. Once you have that you’ll be able to create a list of individuals who are interested in your product. List building is a good technique as it allows you to reach out to your subscribers with newsletters and makes it easy to build a friendly relationship with them, which is important when you want to make your online business successful.

But how would you get people to subscribe? Well, one way of doing that is to offer a free newsletter on your website where you sell your product. The browsers who have yet to make up their minds, whether or not they want to purchase it, might want to be kept updated with a simple bulletin or receive something for free. You don’t want them to forget about you and your product so once they sign up, all you need to do is reminding them.

If you are new to online business and marketing, the list you’re building may seem smaller than you’d prefer it to be. If so, you need to keep in mind that size isn’t everything. A small list is good to start with, but if you’re keen on making your subscriber’s list grow there are plenty of ways to do so.

Writing articles can be a very effective way to build your list and to make money online, the key to writing a good article is to keep it professional and generalised about your niche without trying to sell your product too much, otherwise this can have a negative effect, at the end of every article there is a resource box which can contain a link to the product or your affiliate product

Once you get traffic on your website it can be a good idea to offer them a free ebook or even a newsletter, something to entice them into giving you their email address, the two main methods to capture their email is through a pop up box on your website or a squeeze page,

Finally, the main thing to remember is to care about your list and the consumers on it, no matter what size it is. If you send a few messages keeping them informed and interacting between you and your consumers you’ll find yourself being very successful with only a small list. for something that requires a little work, it’s definitely worth a try.

Best Ebook Reader Reviews

Posted on 30 September 2009 by Phillip Freniere

Many wireless electronic book reading device are fast emerging and among the leading brand is the Amazon Kindle. Amazon’s first wireless reading device was released in 2007, and for a few months after its release, Kindle was sold out in the US until April of 2008. All of Amazon’s e-book readers use an electronic ink paper display that provides the same appearance and readability as your typical newsprint – allowing its users to feel the same comfort and ease.

A simple idea in principle, electronic book readers, or eBook readers as they are commonly known, provide the facility to store entire book collections in a package smaller than a traditional paperback; and the facility to read and enjoy books wherever and whenever you like.

Will you be reading only books? Or will newspapers, blogs, and PDF’s be a regular? The Kindle family has the widest selection of ebooks available, with over 275,000 titles and new ones being added every day. Also with the Kindle you have to opportunity to subscribe to your favorite newspapers and blogs. The Sony readers have more flexibility when it comes to non ebook formats, such as PDF, Microsoft Word documents, and other text formats. Although the brand new Kindle DX now has native PDF support. Whether you choose a Sony or a Kindle you will find the ebooks are much cheaper than their printed counterparts. New York Times Bestsellers start at $9.99 at the Kindle Store.

Perhaps the reason why e-book readers have become a realistic proposition just now is the advent of the display technology? Anyone who has spent time in front of a computer monitor can attest that reading text can be a little wearing after a while. With the new bread of e book readers this is addressed by the use of electronic ink technologies which give the text on-screen an appearance which is very similar to traditional paper.

Another benefit is that many electronic book readers have back-lit screens which enable you to read comfortably when light levels are low – something which is obviously very difficult with the traditional book. Book titles can be purchased on-line and downloaded via a PC instantly. The Kindle book reader, developed by Amazon, allows you to download e-books and electronic versions of newspapers wirelessly, wherever you are, in an instant. Which means an end to queuing in book stores, or waiting for books to be delivered by post.

How To Write EBooks From 21 Black Street

Posted on 09 September 2009 by Kevin Elliott

The reason you write your eBook will have a big impact on the success of that eBook. There could be several reasons such as financial gain, promotion of a business, advancing your career, education, self satisfaction or other reasons. To keep you motivated it is a good idea to write down your reasons.

There are so many different areas you can write about. Choose an area that you have an interest in or have knowledge about. Take the time to do this because it is important. It will be simpler to write about something you know about.

After youve chosen your subject, youll need a title for the eBook. Its worth writing down a few different ones before deciding on the one youll use. This will help to keep your focus and may give you some other ideas. The title should give a clear indication of the content in your eBook. A catchy title may help to sell it, but remember to balance this with clarity to keep it in context.

You must decide who will be your audience by your subject and style of writing. Several areas help you decide this such as age, gender, culture, social background and education. Once this is decided write to that market.

A thesis statement is a sentence or two written to clearly show the reason(s) for your eBook and what you expect to write about. Although this is referred to as a general definition, keep in mind that youre actual statement should be as specific as possible.

Now that you have the foundation, you can begin writing. A standard application like MS Word is a good choice. While you are writing your document you can revise your thesis statement at any time up until it is published. This provides a good degree of flexibility. Choose the format and layout of your document, including chapters, headings and introductions. Dependent on your subject, you may wish to add photographs, anecdotes or testimonials that keep the readers attention.

Since an eBook is generally read from a screen, you may want to break up the text more than in a printed book. Experiment with a few different fonts and look at other eBooks for ideas you can use. Spell check and save your document regularly. MS Word has an auto recovery feature. This is useful if you dont save the document on a regular basis and later experience a system crash. Always backup your document. As a precaution you should also keep a copy on another media such as CD. You can decide to create an executable (.exe) file or a Portable Document Format (.pdf) file.

Tips On Selecting Your Domain Name

Posted on 24 August 2009 by Steve Shaw

Choosing a domain name for your Internet marketing business is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. Whether you’re creating a flagship blog for your business or registering a domain for your niche site, you need to take some time to find the right domain. Look at these following guidelines to help you find an ideal domain name for your site.

1. Your Purpose

You need to think what is your purpose on building a site. If you want to establish your own niche, find keywords that would drive traffic to your website. If you’re buying a domain to sell a product, then your product name or a distinction of the product name mentioning benefits must be your domain name. Your website domain should represent what’s your website all about like, Membernaire.com which is on building membership sites or keywords with regards to your domain like FatLossHelp.com, which talks about losing weight that includes a popular keyword phrase. Shaping the purpose of your site will help you figure out what phrases you should be using.

2. You must have a Presence

Having a precise phrase in a domain name is very crucial to other website owners. But there are some who are able to use another similar phrase. You can insert hyphens, prefixes or suffixes to your domain name if the exact phrase that you want is already taken by other website owners. In that way you can still use the phrase that you want. As a general rule, you should only use two hyphens in a your domain name.

3. Potential.

When choosing your own domain name, you must be able to determine your expectation for your website. How it will develop and grow in the near future? You’re buying a domain name for the purpose of making a niche mini site that will act as a feeder site to your sales page or maybe you want to build an authority site in your niche. Those are the questions that you need to answer for you’re to choose the right domain. A niche mini site domain is more precise than an authority site. Like, beginnersheirloomtomatotips.com is a very precise domain while heirloomgrowing.com has enough flexibility for you to create an authority site.

4. Pay the Price

As long as you’re willing to spend money, you can get any domain name you want. In some cases, you’ll want to register an unused domain name. These can cost from $7 to $12 depending on the company you’re registering with. But if you have a precise business name and want to stick in a domain that has been registered but not used, try to contact the domain owner. Search the contact information of the domain owner at Who ls directory and deal with them.

All of these factors will come into play when you are choosing a domain name for your website. Make sure to carefully consider how your domain name will be used before you buy.
