Everybody loves the liberty of wireless computers. They permit us to work wherever we tend to realize ourselves in at any time of the day. If it is not, you can necessarily install wireless card on your desktop or simply get Ethernet cable and connect it to the router. Either manner, association remains possible.

Whereas there seems to be no real problem concerning having different individuals connect to the Web through the signal that one is giving off from his own network, some people solely could have alternative things in mind. Then one’s Net security will are compromised. They’ll truly access the network owner’s files and begin stealing data that will be vital to him or the company he’s employed for. Some would even do illegal transactions using the network thus that when somebody tries to trace the path of such criminality, everything ends up in the network owner, not the one who truly did the transaction. There are many protection software companies on the Internet that can apparently deal with almost any type of malicious spyware and adware. However, from my own experience, I have found many to be quite useless and some could not even detect more than 50% of existing malware, much less get rid of them.

1. Why Is There Even More Risk of Having Your PC Infected By Spyware and Virus Today?

More and more people are using the Internet more often today than in any time before. The World Wide Web is the medium whereby viruses and spyware spread from PC to PC, thus the risks of virus and malware getting into your computer becomes more and more significant every day.

Users who do not have protection and cleaning software on their PC are found to have more than 90% chance of being infected. Spyware are typically able to sneak into the system and steal sensitive and personal information without the users’ knowledge.

2. My Experience with Dealing with Spyware and Adware Before

After personally having to deal with irritating spyware before, I am glad that I have finally gotten rid of all the malware in my PC by running a high quality spyware and adware remover on it. Keep Your PC Clean With The Help Of Spyzooka!

Posted on 24 November 2009 by Patrick Roody

Out of the currently offered spyware programs it’s the definitely the Spyzooka which proves to be one of the best and most efficient one. Being a relatively new program, Spyzooka has all its tools to provide you with the best quality of safety for the internet and only one disadvantage which is still less than most programs have, so Spyzooka definitely belongs to the highest rated spyware programs now.

When you have Spyzooka on your PC, you do not need to worry about the urgent situations. It acts at its own and you do not even need to look at your screen. It takes advantage of advanced threat blocking system and blocks the threats before they attack your PC. For this purpose, it keeps updating its libraries round the clock.

The automatic setup works the best for you and you still have time to go back to the extras when you feel you can use them as well. The speed of this program is also extraordinary. The Spyzooka has proved to be able to scan more than a hundred million pages effectively and this number is only meant for one day! Imagine how much Spyzooka can do for your pc protection continuously day-by-day!

Unlike most other spyware removal tools, it does not work on any platforms except Microsoft Windows. But at the same time it does not require a specific internet browser as most others do. Some spyware removal software just work either on Firefox or on Internet Explorer, but unlike others Spyzooka blocks the threats no matter which internet browser you are using!

So, all in all it’s a very enthusiastic program when it comes to action and deletion. So logically its only disadvantage comes also out of this characteristic. When it comes to deleting unwanted ad-attacks it can also affect the ones which some programs or engines might require to be used otherwise they stop working.

This might seem good at first, but it creates problems when you want to install and run software that is an adware. Sometimes you just have to run the software that supports advertisement. Most of the sharewares is an example of such software.

It has a great auto updating feature which permanently updates the program for it to be always the most effective to use. So I can recommend it for anyone who wants a great protection for their computers.

To get rid of spyware and to learn more about this topic, click here: spyzooka. Go there today and get a free virus scan and antispyware software download!

Simple Tips To Improve Your Computer Security

Posted on 14 October 2009 by Peter Walsh

Profix is a Computer Repair company and has been involved in the Computer repair & Maintenance field in and around Newry since the 1990’s. During this time a massive amount of experience has been gathered in dealing with small business and residential computer users. From this, it is clear that most people have some bad habits and make a number of common mistakes that seriously weakens their internet security. Follow these simple steps to stay secure on the internet. These are powerful tips to enhance your internet security and are not widely known.

1.Keep all of your Software updated with Secunia’s Free Online Software Scanner. Our experience in the Computer Repair/Maintenance field over the last 10 years shows that most computer users are slow to update their software or dont bother at all. Is this a problem? Yes, very much so. Old software is highly likely to be vulnerable to attack by hackers. These vulnerabilities must be fixed by installing the latest version of the software. The problem is that with so many different installed programs, keeping track of their status can become a chore. This is where Secunias free online Scan will help. It will check 70 of the most common programs for vulnerabilities, including Windows Updates Firefox, Messenger, Zonealarm and Java. Check it out: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/

2. Strengthen all of your password. Change them regularly and make them better. Add a number or two and at least one capital letter. Use zeros instead of O’s and 3’s instead of the letter ‘E’. Using this rule, the word ‘online’ would become ‘0nlin3′. These simple tricks will result in a much more ‘hackproof’ computer. If you doubt that you could remember a new complex password, think again & have more faith in yourself. Use a simple rhyme. For example, the password ‘kth0w’ could become ‘keep the hackers out now’!

3. Be very fussy about what kind of files you download. P2P networks where users exchange files in practice carry a vast number of infected files and computer users end up getting stung. Beware of pornography and warez website as well as they all carry an abnormally high number of security threats.

Follow the advice as described and you will be the owner of a happier and healthier PC. As the number and strength of malware infections increases, you need to devote a bit of time monthly to take action.

Remove Win32 Vundo.H Safely and Completely Today

Posted on 03 October 2009 by Jake Black

Tr Vundo.H, more commonly known as Trojan.Vundo, is a particularly harmful backdoor Trojan that considerably degrades the operation of your computer . Vundo blankets your desktop with tons of annoying advertising pop-ups of false anti-spyware applications. The Vundo virus frequently triggers denial of service errors while surfing some websites including Yahoo. The virus attacks major internet browsers like IE (Internet Explorer), Mozilla Firefox, and Opera.

Trojan.Vundo is problematic because it infects the pcs memory using an Internet Explorer wormhole. After that, it secures itself within IE and Winlogon.

It is often a struggle to stop Winlogon. Thus, whenever you try to delete its active processes you get a message that says that the file is currently in use.

Even when you are able to delete sections of the the virus, it will quickly re-install when you restart your computer. The Vundo Trojan is notorious for adding a plethora of programs labeled with eight random upper and lower case numbers, symbols, and letters which may get picked up by your internet security programs in place of the actual DLL file.

Win32 Vundo includes multiple variants. The virus reads keystrokes and logs them in order to steal secure content from your browser such as credit card data, social security numbers, and login information. These are the primary reasons why the virus is one of the common causes of internet identity theft.

Manual Removal Instructional Guide for the Vundo Trojan

You can remove Trojan.Vundo both manually or by downloading a reliable anti-spyware program. The manual removal guide is detailed below:

1. Search for malware processes and end them through the Task Manager screen.

2. Unregister and erase the problematic DLL files.

3. Remove all associated files and folders from your computers physical memory

4. Erase the Vundo registry entries from the registry locations below:

a. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

b. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

c. HKEY_CURRENT_USER

d. HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG

To manually remove Trojan.Vundo is particularly frustrating and isnt recommended due to the fact it can result in worse errors and incorrect registry editing, which may severely damage your computer.

If you dont think you are a registry editing pro, then I definitely urge you to invest in a Vundo removal tool that is tested and guaranteed to remove the Vundo trojan. You can view a comprehensive list of the guaranteed Vundo removal programs here!

Posted on 01 October 2009 by Roy Anderson

Spywares are a dangerous menace! They can cause so much trouble to you and your computer. Not only do they slow your computer down but spywares also fill your computer with unknown web pages as home page and they pop up unwanted ads while you are surfing the net. If your computer has been having these symptoms, you might be infested with spywares and you need to protect your system from these malicious softwares. In these cases it is always advisable to install a spyware removal program in your computer.

You can also check if your system is infected by spyware yourself. By going to the task manager, you can check on how many programs are running currently in your computer. And you can get to know if there are unknown programs running in your computer. If there are, then beware that they can cause a total arrest of your computer system. But there is a way out in the form of spyware removal programs.

The danger with spywares, apart from speed and unwanted ads and programs is that they can actually trace your movement over the keyboards and take this information to their programmers, this way they can track your passwords and IDs which is very dangerous.

A good spyware removal program not only checks and cleans the computer of any existing spywares and adwares, but it also prevents your computer from future spyware attacks. IT Training and Information – Computer & Network Security

Posted on 30 August 2009 by Scott Heron

Advances in computer technology is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it affords us quick and easy access to numerous conveniences such as bank statements, favorite shopping centers, school and health records, and more. On the other hand, it can also grant the same access to those who aren’t supposed to get it.

With this in mind, hacking has without suspicion rapidly became the largest nuisance in computer crime to date

Lets be frank here, there is zilch special or astonishing about the individual who hacks his or her way into a CPU system. In this day and time, the hackers are not spotty young people that you may normally associate with the crime.

No, instead these days, hackers are most liable groups of individuals who have managed to pinch the identities and personal information of innocent people.

They then selling those identities to others who want to slip by the system. And the only protection against these seedy people is prevention.

Computer security couldn’t be more important than it is today and that’s why we’ve taken the time to introduce it to you.

You can reduce the probability of experiencing identity theft by making your computer as hacker-proof as possible. All that’s needed is a little software and a lot of common sense.

1. Make sure you have the most up-to-date in antivirus technology. These different kinds of program can be installed for free on your PC. The aim of this software is to stop evident types of hateful code from being able to access your system.

Known as viruses, worms, or spyware, this malicious code can destroy important files and render your computer good for only one thing: sending sensitive data back to the server of an identity thief.

2. Make sure that your imperative information is not on your PC. As a substitute of keeping your personal password and bank details on your supercomputer, see if you can keep them on bits of manuscript locked away in a safe location.

The motive behind this is that if you don’t have anything thin-skinned on your PC you wont need to concern too much about it getting into the mistaken hands. Instead all you will need to do is reinstate your system to the prior setting ahead of any virus was found.

A simple computer restore found in the control panel of windows can assist you with this.

3. Make sure you make it a everyday goal to scan each file you open with some antivirus program. It was advised not to long ago that it was prudent not to open any files from people or individuals you did not individually be familiar with.

Today, its advised not to open these files from ANYONE until you skim through these files first. As this is the main cause and reason as to why these malevolent programs spread through the internet in the first place.

Instances of this could be a coworker of yours sending you a humorous film, it can be argued that it is just as dangerous opening this as it would be if it were sent from a complete online hit and miss person.

Just learn by heart to scan each file rather than you use it to make sure that nothing bad or unpleasant infects your own systems, its best to be protected and not sorry!

4. Create a barrier between your computer and prying eyes. Anti-virus/anti-spyware programs are only effective after the effect. But you can prevent identity theft from occurring by installing a firewall.

If you don’t by now understand, a firewall is just a program like an antivirus program that checks all the information transient to and from a system and then will obstruct any data that it deems unacceptable.

5. Learn to discover spam emails. This is the number one way in which hackers will attempt to gain your information. It is vital that you can discover what different kinds of emails are spam and what are not.

It is common for the links to be found in spam emails to be harmless, this is only because the hacker wishes to ruse the individual who recieved the message in giving up his or her information once they reach the destination page.

Your best protection against computer crimes is your own knowledge. Hopefully the suggestions above will prompt you into taking appropriate action and into protecting your computer with the suggested tools.

If you do this, you will uncover that you wont solely be breaking these malevolent files from being spread, you will also be caring your own personal information from being hijacked and browbeaten from people you have by no means even met before.

AVG Anti Virus – Free Virus Removal

Posted on 09 August 2009 by Ryan Wilks

AVG antivirus is one of the highest ranked free virus scan and removal programs available today. Whether you want the free version or want to shell out some money for the retail version, AVG is one of the highest ranked free virus protection software on the market today. However, I still wouldn’t recommend doing anything you want online and throw caution to the wind. As with every anti virus software it can’t protect against stupidity. When compared to the competition, AVG comes out among the top competitors but that isn’t saying too much when you consider the competition. Throughout the article, I will explain the reasons that 8 out of 10 people agree, AVG is one of the most well performing free virus scan and removal programs available and the difference between that and the retail version.

If you compare AVG to a majority of the other antivirus software, AVG comes out being the winner in the amount of computer resources it uses. AVG needs only a Pentium 1 with 300MHz in order to run. This means it could run on a computer built in 1998 and still be fine. You would be hard pressed to run McAfee or Norton since both take 5 times the hard drive space and the RAM needed to run them. Norton Antivirus recommends 512MB in order to run while AVG a lowly 128MB recommended. As you can see there is a vast difference and I believe you will notice a vast difference when you begin to run AVG if you are converting from either Norton or McAfee.

Second, when it comes to detecting viruses, AVG is among the best. Can you believe that AVG has a 93% detection rate? The free version has a little lower and the retail version a little higher but this is the average. Even with the difference, I have had the free version of AVG find numerous things that McAfee and Norton Antivirus missed.

The third and most important fact is that it is AVG Free is well, completely free! It is a great product and will put many retail antivirus programs to shame. So you would think that the retail version of AVG would be amazing right? Well you are right; it’s faster and more efficient than the free version. Does that mean you have to get the retail version? No, you should be okay with AVG Free combined with Spybot or maybe Malwarebytes Anti Malware. If you are not comfortable using a computer safely then I would suggest buying the retail version to make sure you are safe. Think of an antivirus as insurance… you don’t really need it until something goes wrong but when something does you better believe you are happy you had it!

Finally, there are a number of programs that AVG is not compatible with. I just want to list those out here so if you have these on your computer you either need to not install AVG or remove the other program in order for it to work correctly. Webroot Spysweeper, ICQ toolbar, Session Manager 0.6.1.13 add-on, StumbleUpon Toolbar, System Protect, Dell Network Assistant, and Contafiscal 2000 are not compatible with various parts of AVG and having both on the same machine should be avoided.

In closing, AVG is great software for the price since it is free and I will always highly recommend it, unless something better shows up for the price. It is lighter than any other antivirus, detects more viruses than other software, it’s FREE, and there are very few programs that it has an issue with. If you are in the market for a great edition to your computer security arsenal then I highly recommend AVG Free. If you don’t consider yourself computer savvy and want to keep your money in your bank account and not share your passwords with everyone else I would recommend buying the retail version of AVG antivirus.
